A workspace is where your team or organization collaborates. The most convenient way is to create one workspace per organisation. Also, each workspace is billed separately.
As a user, there are no limits to how many workspaces you can create or join. To switch between workspaces, click on the workspace icon in the top-left corner and select the workspace you wish to switch to.
When you create a workspace, Orchestra automatically generates a workspace chat. All users who join the workspace will be added to this chat by default.
You can create a new workspace in two ways:
During Sign-Up: If you are new to Orchestra and signing up through , you will be prompted to create a workspace after completing the sign-up process. Fill out the workspace creation form to set up your workspace;
After Sign-Up: To create an additional workspace after signing up, click the workspace icon in the top-left corner and select + Create new Workspace
button.
To access workspace settings, click the workspace icon in the top-left corner of the screen and choose settings.
Please note that the Settings page is currently in development and offers basic functionality, but it will be significantly improved in the near future.
At the bottom of the left sidebar, you will find the app version. Click it to copy the version number — this can be useful when contacting support.
Here is the basic functionality available on the workspace settings page:
Change workspace icon
Workspace Admin
Workspace Editor
Auto-following settings
Workspace Admin
Workspace Editor
Project Admin
Project Editor
Delete workspace
Workspace Admin
To change the workspace icon:
Click the pencil icon;
Select Change Photo;
Select Browse;
Select an image from your device.
Auto-following allows you to see updates from any chat, even if you are not invited. You can follow an entire workspace or specific projects. The feature is commonly used to stay informed about all tasks within a workspace or project.
Only workspace admins can delete a workspace.
Please note that deleting a workspace is permanent and cannot be undone. All data associated with the workspace will be lost.
On the Notifications page, you can enable or disable notifications for the entire workspace.
If you participate in multiple workspaces, you can choose how the app icon counter will work: show the counter for the currently open workspace, or for all workspaces you're a part of.
Soon, you will also be able to toggle notifications and their sound on or off.
In the App configuration section, you can:
Choose a theme;
Adjust the font size of chat messages;
Enable or disable the display of full names in Kanban view.
Upon request, users can also enable the localization feature.
The functionality of this section will be expanded in future updates.
