# Basics

Learn the basics concepts of Orchestra so you can set up your workspace and get the most out of it

<figure><img src="/files/ur9LMzj01qEmKxqlFpMm" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Workspace

Orchestra workspace serves as the central hub for all chats, tasks, teams, and other elements related to a company. The most common approach is to have a single workspace for the entire organization.

As a user, you can be a member of multiple workspaces and easily switch between them using the dropdown menu on the workspace icon in the top-left corner of the app. Each workspace has a unique URL, formatted as orch.so/example. When you log in to Orchestra, you are accessing a specific workspace.

## Chat

Chats are the core collaboration feature in Orchestra, serving as hubs for various work processes. They enable messaging, calls, task management, and documentation.

There are seven types of chats in Orchestra, each designed for a specific purpose. Depending on your company's workflow, a chat can represent a project, task, CRM card, event, info channel, and more.

Chats are always accessible from the [Chats Page](/pages-and-ui-elements/chats-page).

## Task

A **task** is a fundamental concept in Orchestra, similar to task management software you may already be familiar with. Every task has its own dedicated chat.

There are only two properties required to create a task - name and status - for quick task setup.

Tasks support four levels of nesting,  customizable fields, and relations. Basic task fields include project, status, priority, assignee, and due date. Relations connect tasks with for better workflow management.&#x20;

## Project

A project forms the foundation of task management in Orchestra. Each project has a dedicated page containing all associated tasks.

Projects have all essential features to organize team work: a dedicated chat, custom views and fields, two-level nesting structure, sorting, grouping, and filtering. Projects can also be shared across teams and departments.

## Team

A team helps organize people into groups based on company structure or workflow needs. Teams can be assigned to projects and tasks and have a dedicated team chat. Also, teams have their own task page to provide an overview of all assigned tasks.

## Pages

In Orchestra, there are three main pages: Chats, Tasks, and Teams, each representing the basic concepts described above.&#x20;

### Chats page

Chats page contains all chats you have an access to in your workspace. This is where all team communication and collaboration take place.

### Tasks Page

Contains all **projects and tasks** accessible to you. This page provides essential task management features for structuring workflows, creating views, and tracking project progress.

### Teams Page

Designed for managing team members. From here, you can invite or remove teammates, assign roles, create teams, and oversee team activities.

## Additional features

We strive to make Orchestra as simple and intuitive as possible. To achieve this, we minimize unnecessary UI elements and focus on reusing existing components effectively. Two essential elements you will frequently use in Orchestra are the **Info sidebar** and the **Context menu**.

### Info sidebar

All key concepts in Orchestra have their own **info section** located in the Info sidebar. The content of the Info sidebar varies depending on the concept and may include **general information, member lists, attachments, settings,** and more.

We consider the Info sidebar the primary place for managing and configuring different elements within Orchestra. It will continue to be enhanced with new features as Orchestra evolves.

### Context menu&#x20;

In Orchestra, we widely use context menus to simplify and speed up various in-app actions. For example, you can **create or delete tasks, add members, open info panels,** and more with just a few clicks.

Context menus are available for all key concepts and elements in Orchestra. They appear on **right-click** and provide different options depending on the selected entity.

# Orchestra Flow

At Orchestra, we build our product based on the same principles that guide our daily work. These principles are at the heart of how Orchestra works

We believe that **Collaboration and Productivity** are not separate processes, but two sides of the same coin. That's why we've created a unified entity — a **Work building block** — in Orchestra. This block brings together all the info about the work you are doing, whether it's a task, idea, or issue you are working on. It includes all useful information about the project: messages, calls, descriptions, fields, deadlines, and more.

This approach bridges the gap between collaboration and productivity tools, helping teams save time, work faster, and become more efficient than ever before.

# Workspace Basics

Your journey with Orchestra starts with workspace creation

A **workspace** is where your team or organization collaborates. The most convenient way is to **create one workspace per organisation**. Also, *each workspace is billed separately*.

As a user, there are **no limits to how many workspaces you can create or join**. To switch between workspaces, click on the workspace icon in the top-left corner and select the workspace you wish to switch to.

## Workspace creation

When you create a workspace, Orchestra automatically generates a workspace chat. All users who join the workspace will be added to this chat by default.

You can **create a new workspace** in two ways:

1. **During Sign-Up:** If you are new to Orchestra and signing up through [https://app.orch.so](https://app.orch.so/), you will be prompted to create a workspace after completing the sign-up process. Fill out the workspace creation form to set up your workspace;
2. **After Sign-Up:** To create an additional workspace after signing up, click the workspace icon in the top-left corner and select `+ Create new Workspace` button.

## Settings

To **access workspace settings**, click the workspace icon in the top-left corner of the screen and choose settings.

Please note that the *Settings page is currently in development* and offers basic functionality, but it will be significantly improved in the near future.

At the bottom of the left sidebar, you will find the **app version**. Click it to copy the version number — this can be useful when contacting support.

### Workspace settings

Here is the **basic functionality** available on the workspace settings page:

<table data-full-width="false"><thead><tr><th width="399">Feature</th><th>Role</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Change workspace icon</td><td><ul><li>Workspace Admin</li><li>Workspace Editor</li></ul></td></tr><tr><td>Auto-following settings</td><td><ul><li>Workspace Admin</li><li>Workspace Editor</li><li>Project Admin</li><li>Project Editor</li></ul></td></tr><tr><td>Delete workspace</td><td><ul><li>Workspace Admin</li></ul></td></tr></tbody></table>

#### Change Workspace Icon

To change the workspace icon:

* Click the pencil icon;
* Select Change Photo;
* Select Browse;
* Select an image from your device.

#### Auto-following settings

Auto-following allows you to see updates from any chat, even if you are not invited. You can follow an entire workspace or specific projects. The feature is commonly used to stay informed about all tasks within a workspace or project.

#### Delete workspace

Only workspace admins can delete a workspace.&#x20;

*Please note that deleting a workspace is permanent and cannot be undone. All data associated with the workspace will be lost.*

### Notifications

On the Notifications page, you can enable or disable notifications for the entire workspace.

If you participate in multiple workspaces, you can **choose how the app icon counter will work**: show the counter for the currently open workspace, or for all workspaces you're a part of.

*Soon, you will also be able to toggle notifications and their sound on or off.*

### App configuration

In the **App configuration section**, you can:

* Choose a theme;
* Adjust the font size of chat messages;
* Enable or disable the display of full names in Kanban view.

Upon request, users can also enable the **localization feature**.

*The functionality of this section will be expanded in future updates.*

# Invite and Manage Members

Invite and manage members in your workspace

## Overview

As a workspace owner or editor, you can **manage members of your workspace** in the following ways:

* Invite members
* Delete members
* Deactivate members

## Invite members

Currently, members can only be invited to your company workspace via **invitation links**. In the future, we'll add additional ways to add members: by email, username, etc.

There are **two ways you can add a new member to your workspace** using invitation links:

* Create an invitation link on the Teams page
* Create an invitation link in a chat

<figure><img src="/files/l6geYPIngEiK2X3o9Gza" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Create an invitation link on the Teams page

* Go to the Teams page
* In the header, turn on the `Access by link` toggle
* Copy the generated link
* Send the link to the member you want to invite to your workspace

With this method, a new member will be added to your workspace. When this happens, a system message will appear in your workspace chat, notifying everyone that a new member has joined.

### Create an invitation link in a chat

As a workspace owner or editor, you can i**nvite a member directly to any chat** in your workspace. To do so, follow these steps:

* Open the chat you want to invite a member to
* Open the Member section by clicking on the member icon in the top-right corner of the screen
* In the Invite link section, select `as Member`
* Copy the generated link
* Send the link to the user you want to invite to the chat

In this case, the member will join both your workspace and the specific chat where you created the invite link. When a new member joins a chat, a system message will appear both in your workspace chat and in the chat where you created the invite link.

All members you've added to the workspace will be listed on the **Teams page**, in the All and Members sections.

<figure><img src="/files/mdndP1oGyNah3XpAhZeM" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Delete members

As a workspace owner, you can **remove members from your workspace**. To delete a member, follow these steps:

* Open the Teams page
* Find the member you want to delete
* Right-click on the member's name or left-click on the menu icon in the right side of the member row
* Select `Remove member`

**A member can only be removed if they are not an owner or assignee in any workspace chats.** Otherwise, a modal window will appear, prompting you to reassign their ownership or assignee roles.

Deleting a member from a workspace will completely revoke their access, but will not affect any data they created while working in the workspace.

<figure><img src="/files/xyZ6kauUCSHsoHpkrsGn" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Deactivate members

In some cases, you may need to **temporarily remove a member from your workspace**. For example, if a member will be absent for a few months and you don't want to continue paying for their account, you can deactivate them.

To **deactivate a member**, follow these steps:

* Open the Teams page
* Find the member you want to deactivate
* Right-click on the member's name or left-click the menu icon on the right side of the member row
* Select `Deactivate member`

The deactivated member will lose access to the workspace. However, all their data, chats, and roles will be saved until you reactivate the member.

Deactivated users who have participated in any chats, task, projects, etc., will be listed in the Deactivated block in the **Members Tab** of the Info Sidebar - [Info Sidebar](/pages-and-ui-elements/info-sidebar#members-tab)

<figure><img src="/files/N34F21Nu9XdxPZkxaEgZ" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

To **reactivate a member**:

* Open the Teams page
* Find the member you want to reactivate
* Right-click on the member's name or left-click on the menu icon on the right side of the member row
* Select `Reactivate member`

The member will regain access to the workspace, and all their data will be restored.

You can find the list of **all deactivated members** in the Deactivated section of the Teams page [Teams Page](/pages-and-ui-elements/teams-page). All deactivated members have the `Deactivated` status in the Members section [Teams Page](/pages-and-ui-elements/teams-page#members-section).

<figure><img src="/files/rPuvwHJjrNKJgqyiwXly" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Invite guests

A Guest is a special role that allows you to **add a user to one or more chats** in your workspace. Guests can only be added to task chats. There is **no limit to the number of guests**, and there is **no charge for their participation**.

The guest role is commonly used to add customers, freelancers, or contractors to specific chats where they are working.

Here is how you can **add a guest** to your workspace:

* Open the chat you want to invite a guest to
* Open the Member section by clicking the member icon in the top-right corner of the screen
* In the Invite link section, select `as Guest`
* Copy the generated link
* Send the link to the user you want invite to the chat

<figure><img src="/files/zZTpkyAVL8Oumuk4kDrb" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Leave a workspace

To **leave a workspace**, right-click on the workspace name in the top-left corner, then select the Leave action.

<figure><img src="/files/lYOvwNeEHc2NlG50Vhm7" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

# User Roles

Control access and permissions with ease

In Orchestra, we've designed a simple yet powerful way to **manage access and permissions** within your workspace.

## Basic role model approach

Orchestra follows a **basic role-based access model** with three primary entities that make up the structure of any workspace: Workspace, Project, and Task. Each of these entities has specific roles that determine access and control: Owner, Editor and Member.

It forms our basic role model:

* Workspace Owner;
* Workspace Editor;
* Project Owner;
* Project Editor;
* Task Owner;
* Task Editor;
* Member;
* Assignee;
* Guest.

This model allows you to **divide a workspace in separate zones**, each with its own admins, members, and processes.

### Workspace Owner

This is the most powerful role in a workspace. There can be only one Workspace Owner per workspace. Here are the **primary actions available to a Workspace Owner**:

* **Full Access**: Access to all data, projects, chats, and other resources in the workspace, excluding private projects and group chats where they are not a member;
* **Create, Edit, and Delete**: Ability to create, edit, and delete any entity within the workspace, even those they didn’t create;
* **Manage Users**: Invite, remove, or deactivate any user in the workspace;
* **Add and Remove Members**: Add or remove members from any entity in the workspace;
* **Transfer Ownership**: Transfer the Workspace Owner role to another member;
* **Delete Workspace**: Delete the entire workspace.

In other words, a Workspace Owner can perform any action within the workspace and **has access to almost everything** within it.

### Workspace Editor

A **Workspace Editor** role can be granted to any member of a workspace by a Workspace Owner or another Workspace Editor. There is **no limit** to the number of Workspace Editors in a workspace.

The permissions of a Workspace Editor are similar to those of a Workspace Owner but with some restrictions. Here are the **primary actions a Workspace Editor can perform**:

* **Access to Data**: Access to all data, projects, chats, etc., in the workspace, except private projects or group chats where they are not a member;
* **Create Entities**: Create any entity within the workspace;
* **Edit and Delete**: Edit or delete entities they created but not those created by other members;
* **Manage Users**: Invite, remove, or deactivate any user except for Workspace Owners or other Workspace Editors;
* **Add and Remove Members**: Add or remove members from entities they have permission to access, except for Owners and Editors.

To summarize, a Workspace Editor can perform almost all actions within the workspace, but cannot edit or delete data created by other users.

### Project Owner

The **Project Owner** role is assigned when a member creates a project. A Project Owner has the following permissions within their project:

* **Manage Members**: Add or remove members and assign roles within the project;
* **Edit and Delete**: Edit and delete the project they created;
* **Task Management**: Create, edit, and delete tasks within the project;
* **Transfer Ownership**: Transfer the **Project Owner** role to another member;
* **Full Access**: Access to all data in the project, including subprojects, tasks, chats, and attachments;

In essence, a Project Owner **has full control over their project**.

### Project Editor

A **Project Editor** can be appointed by the Project Owner, another Project Editor, Workspace Owner, or Workspace Editor. The **permissions of a Project Editor** are as follows:

* **Manage Members**: Add or remove members and assign roles within the project, except for the Project Owner or Project Editors;
* **Edit Projects**: Edit the project but cannot delete it;
* **Task Management**: Create and edit tasks within the project, but cannot delete tasks;
* **Access Data**: Access to all data in the project, including subprojects, tasks, chats, and attachments.

The Project Editor role is designed to **allow users to manage and control projects but without destructive actions**, such as deleting data or removing owners and editors from a project.

### Task Owner

The **Task Owner** role is assigned when a member creates a task. A Task Owner can perform the following actions:

* **Manage Members**: Add or remove members from the task and assign roles;
* **Edit and Delete**: Edit and delete the task they created;
* **Access Data**: Full access to all task data, including subtasks, attachments, and other relevant information.

### Task Editor

The **Task Editor** role can be granted by a Task Owner, another Task Editor, Project Owner, Project Editor, Workspace Owner, or Workspace Editor. The **permissions of a Task Editor** are as follows:

* **Manage Members**: Add or remove members from the task and assign roles, except for Task Owners or other Task Editors;
* **Edit Tasks**: Edit the task, but cannot delete it;
* **Access Data**: Full access to all data within the task, including tasks, subtasks, and attachments.

The basic idea of the Task Editor role is to **give users ability to manage and control tasks, but without destructive actions** like deleting data or removing owners and editors from a task.

### Member

A **Member** is a basic role in Orchestra that has access only to the entities they have been added to directly. Here are the **basic actions a member can perform**:

* **Create Entities**: Create projects, tasks, chats, and teams, and edit or delete only those entities they have created;
* **Manage Members**: Add members to the entities they created;
* **Access Data**: Access to all data in the entities they created.

To sum it up, a Member **has access only to the entities they've been added to** without permissions to edit or delete them.

### Assignee

An **Assignee** is a standart role in task management which is used to assign a user to a task. An Assignee can:

* **Edit the Task**: The Assignee can edit the task they are assigned to;
* **View Data**: Full access to task data (subtasks, attachments, etc.) related to their assigned task.

### Guest

A **Guest** is a special role used to add users to one or several chats within the workspace. Guests are **only added to task-related chats** and have the following permissions:

* **Access**: Access to the task chat they’ve been added to;
* **Send Messages**: Ability to send messages within the task chat.

As you can see, the Owner and Editor roles are powerful and possess a lot of rights within a workspace. One of these rights is to have access to any entity that is located under the entity where a user has the Owner or Editor role. As the Orchestra user, you can check who has access to any entity by checking the `Who Can View` block in the `Members tab` of the Info sidebar -[Info Sidebar](/pages-and-ui-elements/info-sidebar#members-tab).

## Managing roles

There are several ways to **manage roles within your workspace**:

* Teams page;
* Members tab.

### Teams page

On the Team page, you can **manage workspace roles at the workspace level**:

* Workspace Owner;
* Workspace Editor;
* Member.

To **set a role**, right-click on a member's name or click the menu icon in the right corner of the member row. In the context menu, choose the role you want to assign.

<figure><img src="/files/SmWrP2M7El6Fn1NnBfHA" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Members tab

Each entity in Orchestra has a **Members tab** within the Info block. To access this:

* Right-click on an entity, select `Open info`, and then click the Members tab;
* On the Chats and Tasks pages, click the Members icon in the header of the chat, task, or project.

In the Members tab, each member’s role is displayed next to their name. Click the role to open a menu where you can assign a different role.

<figure><img src="/files/dPgUXWsct5fj1nMvl7hd" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Channel role model

Channels in Orchestra have a distinct role model from the basic one. The are **three roles** for channels:

* Channel Owner;
* Channel Publisher;
* Channel Subscriber.

### Channel Owner

The Channel Owner is the member who created the channel. They have the following **permissions**:

* To edit and delete the channel;
* To add or remove publishers;
* To add or remove subscribers;
* To publish messages in the channel.

### Channel Publisher

A Channel Publisher role can be assigned by the Channel Owner. They have the **permission**:

* To publish messages in a channel.

### Channel Subscriber

A Channel subscriber can **access and read all messages** within the channel.

<figure><img src="/files/Ix9VKbPvnggIhIIr7H52" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Views role model

Views in Orchestra have a distinct role model. To better understand how views work, please check this page: [Tasks Page](/pages-and-ui-elements/tasks-page#views-block)

A **view** is visible only to its owner and its members, and workspace owners/editors can be added to views.

The **roles for views** are:

* View Owner;
* View Editor;
* View Member.

### View Owner

The user who created the view gets the **View Owner** role. They have **full control over the view** and can:

* Add and remove members to a view and assign roles to them;
* Edit and delete the view they created;
* Transfer the View Owner role to another view member;
* Modify the view configuration (filters, grouping, sorting).

### View Editor

Any member of a workspace can be appointed with the **View Editor** role. This role can be assigned to a member by the View Owner or the View Editor. They can:

* Add and remove members (except for removing the View Owner and View Editors);
* Edit the view (but not delete it);
* Modify the view configuration (filters, grouping, sorting).

The basic idea of the View Editor role is the same as of the View Owner's, but without destructive actions such as deleting the view or removing its owners and editors.

### View Member

A **View Member** has **access to a view without any editing or deleting permissions**.

*We are continuously working on improving Orchestra's role model. Access and permissions management will be enhanced in future updates.*

# Chats Basics

Chats is the place where your team communication lives and turns into action

## Overview

One of the core ideas of Orchestra is that ***team communication is the foundation for all further work***: every idea, task, project, or goal begins with communication. Orchestra is designed to make communication structured and reduce friction between messaging and task tracking.&#x20;

As the result:

* Team **communication** becomes **structured and manageable**;
* **Information** from messages **never gets lost** in chats and is **always available** in the relevant tasks and projects;
* **Employees** are **no longer overloaded and distracted** by irrelevant messages.

Because we believe that communication is central at all work, we have created a **comprehensive and flexible chat structure** in Orchestra. This structure helps efficiently distribute communication across all team activities.&#x20;

Orchestra offers 7 types of chats:

1. **Workspace chat:** Brings all workspace members together in one place. *Use it for company-wide news, updates, and any discussions that involve everyone in the workspace*.
2. **Project chat:** Dedicated to each project in Orchestra. It’s the space for project members to *collaborate, discuss common questions, share project-related information, and provide updates relevant to the project*.
3. **Task chat:** Every task in Orchestra comes with its own chat, where only those directly involved with the task can communicate. It’s the most commonly used chat type, *perfect for focused discussions and updates related to the task at hand.*
4. **Team chat:** Team members can be grouped into teams, each with its own chat. This is where team members can discuss any topics or issues relevant to their specific team, making it *easy to collaborate within a smaller group.*
5. **Personal chat.** This chat is for one-on-one communication between two workspace members. Perfect for private conversations, quick questions, or discussions that don’t require involving a group. *Personal chats are cross-workspace, meaning they remain accessible across all workspaces that the two members share.*
6. **Group chat:** Not tied to any specific project or task. It’s a space for casual conversations, team bonding, or any work-related discussions that don’t need to be confined to a particular task or project. *Use this chat for general communication or informal discussions among team members.*
7. **Channel:** A space where members can view messages, but only designated publishers can post updates. It’s *ideal for sharing company-wide news, announcements, kudos, customer feedback, or any information that needs to be broadcast without open discussion.*

With these diverse chat options, Orchestra ensures that communication flows smoothly across all levels of your organization — from task-specific conversations to workspace-wide announcements.&#x20;

Select the right chat type based on your needs and keep your team connected and informed.

To **select a message**, click on the `Select` action icon in the [#message-context-menu](#message-context-menu "mention") or by clicking on the message's timestamp. You can select multiple messages at once.

### Seen By

This feature shows who has seen the message you've selected. Hover over the `Seen by` item in the [#message-context-menu](#message-context-menu "mention") to display all members who have seen the message.

You can also see who has read a message in another way: the last read message by a member is marked with their avatar near the message timestamp. If a message has been read by multiple members, their avatars will be shown. Hovering over the avatars will display a popup with a list of all members who have read the message.

### Create a task and subtasks

You can **create a task** or subtask directly from a message. To do this, click on the `Create task` or `Create subtask` action in the [#message-context-menu](#message-context-menu "mention"). Here’s how this action works:

* A new task or subtask is created. A subtask is created for the original task where the `Create subtask` action was performed.
* The message from which the task was created is linked to the newly created task.
* All messages from which a task was created are sent to the new task.

If the message you want to create a task from includes [Key Messages Features](/chats/key-messages-features#mentions) of a member, you can assign the new task to that member by selecting them in the submenu.

# Project Basics

Create work units to organize your work effectively

## Overview

A **Project** is the next level in the hierarchy after a workspace and serves as the primary organization unit for all your tasks.&#x20;

With projects, you can **structure your workspace in any way to fit your needs**. For instance, you can create projects for each of your clients or departments, populate them with tasks, add members, assign roles, and get to work.

[Tasks Page](/pages-and-ui-elements/tasks-page) is where you'll primarily work with your projects. In the left sidebar, you'll see a list of all your projects. To **view the tasks** within a specific project, simply select it from the list.

<figure><img src="/files/SRP5IfLnuNMlKnpEVSX6" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

# Tasks Basics

## Overview

A **task** is the core entity in your project management workflow. It represents an individual piece of work that needs to be completed within a project.

Tasks help break down larger projects into manageable steps. You can assign tasks to team members, set due dates, add descriptions, attach files, and track progress. Tasks can also be structured into subtasks to handle more complex projects.

The [Tasks Page](/pages-and-ui-elements/tasks-page) is where you’ll spend most of your time managing tasks. This page lists tasks from all your projects, allowing you to filter, sort, and prioritize them based on deadlines, assignees, or other criteria. This helps keep your work organized and manageable.

Tasks support up to four levels of nesting, allowing you to create structured task hierarchies, such as:&#x20;

* Launch new landing page
  * Design phase
    * Create wireframes
      * Review wireframes with the team
    * Design high-fidelity mockups
      * Get feedback from stakeholders
    * Finalize design
      * Prepare assets for development
  * Development phase
    * Set up development environment
      * Install required dependencies
    * Implement front-end code
      * Code HTML structure
      * Implement CSS styling
      * Add JavaScript interactivity

## Tasks Layouts

All tasks on [Tasks Page](/pages-and-ui-elements/tasks-page) are presented in two default layouts: List and Kanban. Additionally, you can create custom layouts. Both default and custom layouts are available across all projects and views.

For more details on how layouts work, see [Project Layouts](/projects/project-layouts) and <mark style="background-color:purple;">Views Layouts.</mark>

Here's how it works:

1. **Feature Concept** – A new feature is first discussed and documented in a dedicated task, outlining goals, requirements, and initial ideas.
2. **Design Task** – Once the concept is approved, a separate design task is created to develop wireframes, UI/UX elements, and user flows.
3. **Development Task** – After the design is finalized, developers create their own task to implement the feature, referencing both the concept and design tasks.
4. **QA Task** – Once development is complete, the QA team sets up a testing task to validate functionality, ensure quality, and report any issues.

By linking these tasks, teams gain a **structured workflow**, ensuring transparency, smooth handoffs, and efficient progress tracking across departments.
